what a quaint little place. if you enjoy dirt! i was horrified to find a cockroach at check-in, not the warm welcome i thought i deserved. also, why wasn’t the air conditioning on during my summer stay? not to mention, i expected a room upgrade for all the inconvenience but was left hanging. i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

We adored the delightful breakfasts. Brent's hospitality and genuine warmth made every morning special. The serene picnic area was great for unwinding after a day of exploration. The room's decor added a charming touch that felt distinctly New Orleans.
The air conditioning could have been more efficient during the hot summer days.

The O'Malley House has a lovely relaxation courtyard, and enjoying the sumptuous breakfasts with fellow guests was a highlight. The streets may feel lively at times, but the accessible public transport made it easy to explore. Just a heads up, the plumbing on the top floor could use some attention.

We had a lovely stay, enjoying the vibrant festivals and delicious NOLA food. Our visit was enhanced by Brent’s fantastic breakfast and the warm atmosphere of the place, making it a great spot to relax after a day of exploring with my family and father.
For dads, it would be great if there were more kid-friendly activities available.

The beautiful old home radiates character, with a relaxing courtyard that features a soothing fountain. Mornings began with delightful breakfasts, including hot items that set a cheerful tone for the day. The host provided personalized insights about local experiences and made sure guests felt comfortable and welcome. Plenty of great dining options are within walking distance, and public transport is conveniently close for exploring the city. However, some stairs may be a challenge for those with limited mobility. also, ensure to heed the courtyard hours to avoid unnecessary disturbances.
